# Third-party software The lightweight SlowMySong Studio release includes the frontend libraries in `web/vendor/` and the font with its license in `web/fonts/LICENSE.txt`. Library notices remain in their bundled JavaScript files. Python, Qt for Python (PySide6 and Shiboken), Qt, Chromium/Qt WebEngine and FFmpeg are installed separately by the user; their upstream distributions provide their own license notices. Optional frozen native builds additionally redistribute Python and Qt. Those builds collect available package licenses in `licenses/` next to the app assets. Python: https://www.python.org/psf/license/ Qt for Python: https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython-6/licenses.html Qt and Chromium notices: https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtwebengine-licensing.html PyInstaller: https://pyinstaller.org/en/stable/license.html For optional frozen native releases, Qt's shared libraries remain separate files in the application directory. Users can replace them with compatible modified versions; this distribution does not prohibit reverse engineering required to debug modifications to LGPL components. The frozen build pins Qt 6.11.2 and PySide/Shiboken 6.11.2, without changes to their source. Complete corresponding source, build files, and upstream license notices are available from The Qt Company's archive: - Qt (including Qt WebEngine and its bundled Chromium): https://download.qt.io/archive/qt/6.11/6.11.2/single/qt-everywhere-src-6.11.2.tar.xz - PySide and Shiboken: https://download.qt.io/official_releases/QtForPython/pyside6/PySide6-6.11.2-src/pyside-setup-everywhere-src-6.11.2.tar.xz `sources.json` and `build-info.json` record the actual versions used to build each artifact. Source can be downloaded without an account. The archive contains the build instructions and individual third-party license notices. To rebuild the bindings, follow `README.md` in pyside-setup and Qt's `configure`/CMake instructions in the Qt archive. The shared Qt libraries are separate and can be replaced by compatible modified builds in the installed application's `_internal/PySide6` directory (or the corresponding frameworks directory inside the macOS `.app`). FFmpeg is a separate optional executable. Default builds use the system's FFmpeg and do not redistribute it. Linux Debian packages declare an FFmpeg dependency. When bundling FFmpeg, the build requires both a binary directory and an archive of its complete corresponding source (including enabled dependencies and build instructions). That source archive accompanies the installer in the release directory. Do not substitute a generic FFmpeg source release for a differently configured third-party binary. FFmpeg licensing: https://ffmpeg.org/legal.html Public desktop archives have no YouTube download integration. They import files selected by the user and process them locally. The owner's personal source copy retains its separate optional downloader and is not distributed publicly.
