SLOWMYSONG STUDIO — DOWNLOAD AND USE TERMS

Please read these terms before downloading. By checking “I agree” and choosing
“Agree and download”, you agree to these terms with the creator and contributors
of the SlowMySong project (the “maintainers”). If you do not agree, do not
download or use this release. You must have the legal capacity to agree, or have
a parent or guardian agree on your behalf where required.

1. A FREE HOBBY PROJECT
SlowMySong Studio is provided free of charge as an independent hobby project.
You may install and use it for lawful purposes. There is no promise of technical
support, maintenance, updates, continued availability, or suitability for your
particular device, files, workflow or purpose. The maintainers may change or
stop providing the project. Future terms do not change this agreement
retroactively; a new download may require agreement to updated terms.

2. PROVIDED AS IS — NO WARRANTIES
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APPLICATION AND DOWNLOADS
ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE,
NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY OR COMPATIBILITY. WE DO NOT
GUARANTEE THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR
THAT AN EDIT, RECORDING OR EXPORT WILL WORK OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

3. BACKUPS, RESULTS AND SAFE USE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Keep independent backups of original media and important files. Test the app
and check exported files before relying on them. Editing, recording, conversion
and export can fail, produce unexpected or lower-quality results, or result in
lost, corrupted or overwritten files and unsaved work. The app may crash, use
substantial memory, storage or processing power, or encounter device and codec
limitations. Use safe listening levels and take care with audio equipment.
Do not rely on this hobby project as your only recorder, backup, or a guaranteed
tool for an irreplaceable live event or professional obligation.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE MAINTAINERS ARE NOT LIABLE
FOR CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM DOWNLOADING,
INSTALLING, USING, OR BEING UNABLE TO USE THE APPLICATION OR ITS OUTPUT. THIS
INCLUDES DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS; LOST OR
CORRUPTED DATA OR RECORDINGS; LOST PROFITS OR OPPORTUNITIES; BUSINESS
INTERRUPTION; DAMAGE TO DEVICES OR PROPERTY; AND THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS. THIS
LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT OR ANOTHER
LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSS WAS KNOWN.

These exclusions apply only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes
mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or
limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct,
gross negligence, or death or personal injury. Where an exclusion is not
permitted, it applies only to the extent the law allows.

5. USE MEDIA LAWFULLY
You are responsible for having the rights, permissions or applicable legal
exception needed to import, record, edit, reproduce, perform, share or
distribute your media and exports. Downloading this app gives you no rights in
someone else's music or video. Personal use, practice, education or changing
speed and pitch does not automatically make every use lawful. Do not use it to
infringe copyright, violate privacy, bypass access controls, or break applicable
law or third-party terms. The application includes no YouTube downloader.

6. YOUR FILES AND THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
Media processing takes place on your device. This download page does not ask
you to upload your songs or videos, and the maintainers acquire no rights in
your media through your use of the app. Your device, operating system and any
separately installed tools or services remain subject to their own policies.
Qt, Python and other third-party components have their own licenses and
notices. These terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant, including
rights to replace or modify LGPL components and debug those modifications.
Windows and Mac preview releases may be unsigned or not notarized; review the
release information and download only from the official site.

7. DOWNLOAD AGREEMENT RECORD
To provide the download and document agreement, the website uses an essential
session cookie and keeps a minimal receipt containing the acceptance time,
terms version and hash, selected release filename and an anonymous receipt ID.
The website's normal security/access logs may also contain your IP address and
browser information. The agreement receipt does not contain your media, name
or email address. Do not submit private media or personal information here.

8. IF A PART OF THESE TERMS CANNOT APPLY
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to
the extent permitted by law. Your mandatory local legal rights remain intact.
